Tissamaharama Sri Lanka

A majestic stupa rises like a white dome above the lush greenery on Sri Lanka’s southern coast. As you move closer, the historic town of Tissamaharama—one of the key cities of the ancient Sinhalese Kingdom of Ruhuna in the 3rd century BC—emerges, surrounded by five scenic lakes.
